In this review, I take a look at the RST S-1 Mesh D3O Jacket, a lightweight textile jacket designed for warm-weather riding. With large mesh panels, D3O armour, a removable SinAqua waterproof thermal liner and a price tag of just £149, it promises a lot for the money.

I've been wearing it on the road to find out whether this budget-friendly option is all most riders really need.

The Klim GT-1 Expedition is the latest modular helmet from Klim, designed from the ground up for touring riders who want the convenience of a flip-front helmet without sacrificing the comfort, weight and refinement of a traditional full-face.

I first laid my hands on the ZeroFit IceSkin at last year's ABR Festival and was genuinely amazed. Despite being displayed in a hot gazebo, the fabric actually felt cold in my hands.

Naturally, I thought it might be a gimmick. So I bought one and spent the last year wearing it on tours, hot summer rides and in everyday use to find out whether it really works.

From performance and handling to comfort, electronics and everyday usability, this is my real-world take on Ducati's latest naked bike.
